  Every first Sunday of the month is the SunTrust Sunday Jazz Brunch. It's an ideal way to relax and enjoy Fort Lauderdale’s scenic Riverwalk. This free, live, outdoor concert series brings the area’s best local jazz artists. Listen to the soulful sounds on four different stages on the first Sunday of each month from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend, including well-behaved, leashed pets.

  We will have a designated meeting place where we can meet and greet and get to know each other. Bring your chairs, blankets and snacks.

  There is plenty of room to set up chairs, blankets and picnic baskets to experience the fabulous entertainment. Patrons can also stroll along the historic brick-lined walkway to enjoy live music while browsing items from local merchants and enjoying food from area restaurants. This is a FREE event. SO PLEASE RSVP RESPONSIBLY. Once you say yes, we feel obligated to show up and make this event happen.  This is a great ice breaker to meet new friends.

  If you want to bring a pot luck basket, feel free or food and beverages can be purchased from vendors. Bring your blankets and or folding chairs.

  Let’s face it. We are all inundated with e-mails. So many of us miss great events because of cluttered e-mail boxes. That is why I have set up a free text messaging service for you. This is 100% opt in and you can opt out anytime you like with a simple click. We will limit the amount of text messages to just a few important reminders and event announcements. We decided to do this because so many of you tell us how many times they missed an event because they didn’t know about until it passed.

  Being a VIP has it's privileges. This is one of our VIP members only event. 

  IMPORTANT: Please read all the details.  

  Let's hit a local eatery for "Dinner for eight" (new friends). A great way to network, make new friends and get out of the house for a few hours. Also the chance to try restaurants you haven't been to yet. We'll rotate locations, days and times. Sometimes dinner, sometimes lunch. What it is. A smaller, more intimate way to get to meet new friends. What it is not. A dating or matchmaking situation. We'll shoot for three men and three women. Give or take. Suggested age range. 40 - 55. Give or take. 

  Cost: Pay your own bill. 

  You must be pre-registered. Do not just show up. We only send meeting instructions, cancellations or re-scheduling to those who have registered. Please RSVP responsibly. Please do not RSVP yes unless you are 100%. If you RSVP yes, please show OR if you can't make it, let us know. No shows. Not cool. If your plans change and you cannot attend,
  please adjust your RSVP accordingly or just let us know.

Our VIPs can now join our VIP only chat group on what's app. This group is hosted and monitored by us, and is only for VIPs. Plus we make sure it is a safe and positive experience.  There you can keep in touch with and communicate with other VIPs, get updates and even suggest get togethers outside the group. The best part?   Of course there’s perks. An automatic discount on all paid events. Starting at 10% and up. VIPs never pay for events indicated “FREE VIP Event” on the event description. Such as the speed impressions, business networking, speed networking, member socials just to mention a few. PLUS VIPs have the option of receiving text messages about event announcements rather than rely on e-mail.
  
  In addition we will do our best to offer you a lower rate on non-premium events. For example, if a “learn to whatever” is listed for $29.00, you would pay 25% less and sometimes even more. Premium may be something like a club Med trip, cruise or high ticket item. I’d always note when possible.
  
  In addition, you will be put into a separate e-mail contact and text message list (for our eyes only) and issued a VIP status next to your membership ID. As our VIP. member you would be contacted first when there is a limited amount of tickets or a don’t miss opportunity that will be offered to the VIP list before the general group.
  
  Here are some other VIP perks. VIP member only events. Events specifically designed to be more intimate and for VIPs only. A VIP members section only. There, VIPs will be able to post, blog and IM other VIP members. VIPs will be granted access to all Meet Me There Events in other cities at no additional charge.
