Guests are in for a wonderful, picturesque experience as they cruise along the Downtown skyline enjoying the mixture of 125 years of historic and modern architecture from the water. Relax comfortably on padded seats or with feet dangling in the catamaran’s bow nets while the Atlantic’s water flows underneath.

  Bring a chair and or blanket. The beach is such a beautiful and quiet setting to decompress and get to know each other. We do this on a recurring basis. We rotate locations all the time. After, you'll be asking, "When's the next one?"

  Of course there’s perks. An automatic discount on all paid events. Starting at 10% and up. VIPs never pay for events indicated “FREE VIP Event” on the event description. Such as the speed impressions, business networking, speed networking, member socials just to mention a few.   In addition we will do our best to offer you a lower rate on non-premium events. For example, if a “learn to whatever” is listed for $29.00, you would pay 25% less and sometimes even more. Premium may be something like a club Med trip, cruise or high ticket item. I’d always note when possible.
  
  In addition, you will be put into a separate e-mail contact and text message list (for our eyes only) and issued a VIP status next to your membership ID. As our VIP. member you would be contacted first when there is a limited amount of tickets or a don’t miss opportunity that will be offered to the VIP list before the general group.

  How Rotating dinner/lunch works.
  
  Satisfy your appetite to meet fun new people with our famous Rotating Group Dinners. First enjoy casual conversations as you are randomly seated at the table for our group dinner. After each course of the meal you will be randomly directed to a new seat! It is a fun way to meet others in the group as you wind up sitting with different combinations of people throughout the dinner. It is fun, goofy and very effective at creating great connections. Trust me. It's a lot more fun once you get past your initial inhibitions. Be brave! Try it, you'll like it

  Lets hit the beach, get a little cardio and get acquainted.  Be on time or as close to for this one. Another VIP only event. become a VIP members here
  

  We'll meet at a designated spot. After brief intros, those who want to take a brisk 15 - 30 minute walk on the beach will do so. If you just want to chill, awesome. Bring your chair. After we'll sit, chat and get to know each other before the sun goes down. Included is a champagne toast. We rotate this event. Different days. Different locations. So if this one isn't close to you, the next one will. Palm Beach, Broward and Miami. 

  Please be friendly, no hidden agenda and no inappropriate behavior. I.E. No politics or disrespectful conversation. Let's just have an enjoyable time and enjoy being outdoors with friends.

  Bring whatever you think you need. Chair, sunscreen, water snacks etc.. If walking, be prepared to be comfortable for a brisk walk to get the heart rate up.

  Make sure to bring a chair and a snack. After the walk, grab a chair and let's talk, laugh and get to know each other. Simple!

  Something new. Something different. We all know how hard it is to make new friends. Especially ones you click with. Have you ever wished that you had a wingman or wingwoman to go to the movies, hit the beach, try that new restaurant or maybe hit a club? Of course you did. Like most of us there's probably been plenty of times you would have done something if only you had a friend or a group to do it with. So I propose a group of friends that meet regularly or have a group where they can try fun activities with friends.  Here's how it will work.
  
  1. Once joined as a VIP member , you will have access to the calendar of events specifically for this group. You can see a sample of event suggestions here Participate whenever it's good for you. 

  2. Members may suggest and host events or get togethers. E-mail Adrian@MeetMeThereEvents.com Once your suggestion is approved, it will be placed on the calendar and you designated as the host.

  3. The best part. We have a WhatsApp group. There does not have to be a scheduled event here for members to suggest a get together. Once joined, you will be added to the WhatsApp group. There all can join in on group communication and put ideas out. EG. There doesn't have to be something scheduled for John to shout out, "anyone want to play some tennis today?" or Mary posts, "Looking for anyone who wants to hit Brunch on Sunday". The WhatsApp group is a great way for all of us to see activity, talk to each other, get others to attend an activity or even find each other when at the location. Once verified here, you will be sent instructions to complete your profile and WhatsApp invite.

  4. Every month we'll plan a Meet & Greet so you can get to know each other. We'll rotate days and locations so there will be one near you soon. See here

  Some guidelines:
  Do not mistake this as an opportunity to try and secretly date someone. THIS IS NOT FOR THOSE LOOKING FOR A DATE!! You will be found out and once members report back to me that you did, you will be removed. We expect all to act maturely, responsible and with good social graces. This should be considered a unisex opportunity. It does not matter who you click with. Male or female. You decide.

  Behavior. It will be expected that all will act maturely and respectfully towards other members. No harassment or disrespectful action or speech will be tolerated. Anyone violating these guidelines will be removed. Other members can feel free to forward any concerns to the group admin.
  

  Attendance. Whereas there are no minimum attendance required, we expect that you RSVP to events responsibly. Especially free events. Please DO NOT RSVP if you are not 100% able to attend. If you rsvp yes and your plans change, no problem. Just let us know or change your rsvp. Please do not RSVP yes and just not show up. This is just not considerate to your fellow attendees. We decide on whether to proceed with an event based on your rsvps. If this happens twice, we'll communicate with you and see why. If it happens a third time, you will be removed. 

  Membership: You must have a current profile picture. You must have a verifiable fakebook or LinkedIn profile. We don't care what you look like. We just want real members. No fake profiles permitted.

  I started Meet Me There Events for people who want to get out, meet new people, make real connections, and enjoy group activities with like-minded adults.

  But here’s the truth: I can’t keep growing this community without support from people like you. I've tried and still try to keep it as affordable as possible. That's why I post so many FREE member events you'll see on the calendar

  Your membership helps me advertise to more local people who are also looking for connections, organize more events, and keep building a reliable community for those who don’t want to sit home or do life alone.

  The monthly costs of keeping this group open is honestly staggering. BUT! I believe we really need a community and a place to get out of our crazy lives. Mine currently is not only working like crazy but, taking care of a 94 year old mother with dementia. The hardest thing I've ever done. So, will you support this project?
